Informed World Class Commissioning
Sollis are currently working with over 60 (sixty) Primary Care Trusts in support of their healthcare commissioning activities.
Sollis data warehouse and business intelligence solutions have been deployed to deliver vital intelligence in respect of contract and performance management. Business reporting in support of Practice Based Commissioning (PBC) is at the heart of the Sollis software proposition.
An increasing number of PCTs are now engaged with Sollis in developing data warehouse and business intelligence solutions that will deliver on the data and information needs demanded by World Class Commissioning.
Data Warehousing & Business Intelligence
It is clear that in order for PCTs to become true World Class Commissioners, they need access to a range of NHS datasets and intelligence that extends beyond that commonly available just through the Secondary Uses Services (SUS).
Croydon PCT is a good example of a PCT who has exploited the best of data warehousing and business intelligence to secure data and deliver information in support of its World Class Commissioning objectives.
At Croydon the Clarity data warehouse integrates primary care data sets sourced from GP Practice Systems across the PCT. The analysis generated through the Clarity data warehouse secures intelligence in support of a number of commissioning and service re-design initiatives to include the Croydon PCT ‘Virtual ward’ Project.
