Contract and Performance Management
At Sollis we recognise that the ‘business’ of healthcare commissioning is big ‘business’. The financial value of healthcare contracts (service level agreements) to providers and commissioners alike is measured in the millions of pounds. There are significant risks to all parties, commissioners and providers, if they do not get contract management right.
With this in mind we are fundamentally of the view that the system support for the management of these healthcare contracts, can no longer be left to Access databases and Excel spreadsheets.
What is needed is a fully integrated and industry strength solution. Clarity.CMS is such a solution.
Systems Integration
Clarity.CMS is based around a MS SQL Server database. In an Acute Trust setting it is fully integrated with the Patient Administration System (PAS). In a commissioning environment setting it is fully integrated with Secondary Uses Service (SUS).
Enterprise Wide Reporting
Enterprise reporting is delivered through a combination of high performance analytics and reporting (OLAP) and highly visual and intuitive management/clinical dashboards.

Chronic Disease Management
Because CLARITY collects clinical data that extends beyond the requirements of QOF, it is an invaluable resource for Public Health professionals, particularly in terms of analysis in support of patients with long term conditions.

Croydon PCT
Evidence of this work can again be found at Croydon PCT where Clarity has been used to examine patterns in co-morbidities (e.g. linkages between Coronary Heart Disease, Hypertension and Diabetes).
Importantly, because Clarity also secures information in respect of Practice and PCT resident populations, reports are available which consider chronic disease management in terms of prevalence rates.
Comparative information for all practices across the PCT is provided as standard.
In the context of chronic disease management, Clarity provides a vital knowledge base in respect of public health monitoring and surveillance.
